The Workout Report: I guess It's time to pull out my cape!

I am busy. I have been busy for years now. Sometimes I make myself busy but most times I am busy by default. Does busi-ness (notice when you place it together it spells ...business) get in the way of my workouts? It used to be not,  but now-a-days, being busy during the day with Jonathan, and my studio business at night totally gets in the way of my own workouts. I can't just pick up and head out to the gym anymore.  The late night gym routine actually started to get a bit difficult with the snowy weather and I sort of never picked them back up once the snow cleared up. The last time I worked out was actually yesterday at Alana's spin class at my studio. The class was great (as always) and I was happy to be a part of it. However, I have fallen short on training myself... leading myself into my own workouts. This, I have to fix. I am in the process of expanding my fitness studio (we are opening up an additional loft space downstairs from where I currently am) to take on more hours. This will allow me and the instructors to train more people, so instead of closing shop at 8pm I can now close down at 9pm. This is a huge undertaking and a blessing all at the same time however, this also cuts into my outside gym time. So, the obvious question is why don't you work out at your studio when it closes? Well, the problem with that is after I close for the night, I need my own private time outside of my workplace. See, my studio is for everyone else but me! I opened the studio to get anyone who wanted to utilize the services it offers to benefit from the wonderful classes lead by great instructors. So now, I need to find another gym on my own time and quite possibly my own personal trainer to give me a work out! So, I decided that I need a new plan. Now that I have lost a good amount of weight (9 lbs), and I've gotten the food/nutrition thing in order it's time for me to work this training schedule out. I decided I need a bit more help. I called on an old colleague of mine who is also into martial arts and boxing. Every other Saturday he is going to train me using some of his martial arts techniques along with boxing combinations (which I so love!!!). Then I am going to try my best to make it to the gym after work (which is even later now) with RD. I will designate three days out the week that I can solely devote to strength training at the gym working on all body parts. During the rest of the week I will take the yoga and spin classes and work on Pilates at my studio. So, let's review...that's personal training, gym time and fitness classes on a weekly basis along with taking care of my three kids (which includes an infant that wakes up 2-3 times a night), running a business, and satisfying my domestic duties. Whew! This is a plan that I can not have fail as spring is soon approaching and so is my annual photo shoot. I should be able to put this plan into immediate action.  Failing is just not an option right now. With all that being said, I guess it's time to pull out my cape...
