Welcome...today is the start of the journaling process of me losing my baby weight. Let me briefly tell you my back story...
I recently gave birth to my third baby boy on November 13th 2010. His name is Jonathan Xavier Adames and he is healthy and abundantly happy! I couldn't be more thrilled to be a mother of an infant again but I am less thrilled to have to work hard at getting my body back after delivery. Now that I am older and it is two months later I am realizing just how tough it is to pick everything back up again. I mean this figuratively and literally. Some days I struggle just to get out of bed and dressed in the morning. All due to a lack of sleep from doing the mommy feeding duty all night. Ugg! Some days it feels like I can't even think about a workout no less perform one and this is coming from a personal trainer! Anyway, as I spare the normal details of early motherhood I digress to the mission at hand. I need to lose 20 lbs in order to look they way I used to (see blog picture). I actually want to look better than that!!! I currently weight 163lbs ( last time I checked) and 135-140 lbs is my goal weight. Okay so I know that is more than 20 lbs...but I need to meet small goals to accomplish the bigger one at hand. My plan for today is to record all of my meals. I will be eating three main meals and two smaller snacks. I will eat my dinner no later than 8pm and I will commit to completing my endurance workout with a bit of my Pilates based strength training routine after I teach the Springboard Pilates and Fit Boxing classes at my studio tonight. I will check back in tomorrow to tell you what happened! Until then here's a picture of Jonathan:
